MM, all. Just thought to point out that The Wiccan Rede (also called Rede of the Wiccae) was written by Adriana Porter. It was first published by Lady Gwynne Thompson in "Green Egg" magazine. (One reference, http://www.starkindler.org/arion/rede-2.htm) Also, Charge of the Goddess is properly attributed to Doreen Valiente. The prose version of Charge of the Goddess is found in the Farrars' books, Eight Sabbats for Witches or Part One of A Witches Bible. The verse Charge of the Goddess is published in Rebirth of Witchcraft by Doreen Valiente. Both the Farrars and Valiente are in accord as to who should be properly credited for Charge of the Goddess. As point of interest, a new book has been published in honour of Doreen Valiente. See http://www.doreenvaliente.com. BB, Cassandrah |
